I went through high school, college, and graduate school breezing along on the hunt and peck system. My Dad always fussed at me, saying that I should learn to type the correct way.

With the advent of computers in the workplace in the 1990's I had to learn to type and Mavis Beacon taught me how. I bought my first Mavis for about $80 on big discs and set to it. Now I type between 45 and 60 words per minute and owe it all to Mavis.

She never gets angry, never makes cutting remarks. Whatever age you are she'll give you work at the appropriate level.
